Alchemist

Alchemy is the ancient metaphysical science/mystical art of manipulating and altering matter by using natural energy. This act is known as "Transmutation" and its sequence is usually described as:
• (1) Comprehension - Understanding the inherent structure and properties of the atomic or molecular makeup of a particular material to be transmuted, including the flow and balance of potential and kinetic energy within.
• (2) Deconstruction - Using energy to break down the physical structure of the identified material into a more malleable state so as to be easily reshaped into a new form.
• (3) Reconstruction - Continuing the flow of energy so as to reform the material into a new shape.
The proper application of this craft requires not only a full understanding of chemistry and ancient alchemical theory, but also a sort of natural talent towards recognizing and manipulating the physical objects with energy, which require uncommon levels of intelligence and aptitude. Those remarkable individuals capable of studying and practicing alchemy are known as "Alchemists".

Gear:
Carrys up to 1 melee weapon OR 1 ranged weapon(Special gear doesn’t count for this).

Alchemy:
Alchemy is a wis roll in combat. An alchemical spell is broken down like this:

Name: This is the name of the spell.
Type: The "type" of alchemy
Transmutation Circle: This is the difficulty of the transmutation circle, in terms of turns. The more powerful the spell, the more rounds it takes to craft the circle.
Learn DC: This is the dc rolled to learn the spell. (THIS MUST BE DONE IN FRONT OF A DM). Learning Alchemy is explained under the “Learning Alchemy” forum.
Effect: This is the effect of the spell. This can vary from damage to status effects to many other things, depending on the particular spell.

An alchemist can only know a certain number of spells total. This is the alchemist’s INT mod.

Once a spell is cast, the circle is destroyed, and you must redraw it for a new spell.

Skills:

Alchemic Analysis
Used to identify different alchemy circles, materials, etc etc.
D20+wis mod v.s DC
PVP Aspect: An alchemist can analysis another alchemist’s circle. This take the alchemist’s turn. This is a wis v.s wis roll. If successful, the alchemist that analyzed gets +2 against the other alchemist.

FEATS:
Alchemy Feat: All alchemists have this. It allows one to learn more advanced transmutations, and use very basic forms of alchemy on a small scale. As well, things made lack any form of complexity, and are roughly shaped. (I.E., making small, palm sized figurines, or a small toy. Nothing bigger than a mans head., and certainly no weapons.)

Predrawn Circle: (16 wis mod required.) This allows you to cast your specialized spell during your turn without drawing a circle. The circle spell may not exceed the dc of 50.

Specialization: This allows you to specialize in one type of alchemy. Although an alchemist can perform almost any kind of transmutation, when they specialize they get bonus's. This will add a bonus to damage based on wis mod. It also adds a +2 to hit with their specialty alchemy.(You can't specialize in general alchemy)
MOD:
1-5: +1
6-10: +2
11-15: +3
16-20: +4
21+: +5

For example: A alchemist with a 15 wis mod who picks fire as their specialty gets:
+2 to attack for fire alchemy spells, and +3 to damage.

Circle Mastery: This feat makes a character a master at drawing circles in combat. This adds a +4 to Alchemic Analysis.

Bookworm(15 wis mod needed). This feat represents a character's ability to easily understand alchemy. This allows the alchemist to get a bonus of +15 to rolls when learning alchemy.
